Methodology

Accounts were captured from 336 GI-cancer tweets curated at ASCO 2026 and classified into physician (US / international), researcher, pharma, institution, media, patient-advocate and general-public categories via the KOL Pulse account registry. US physicians are cross-referenced against CMS Open Payments. Top-10 KOLs are ranked by the locked 25×25 engagement formula (retweets, quotes, replies, mentions among the tumor's top voices). Trial attribution ties an account to a GI trial when it authored a tweet tagged to that trial or engaged a KOL who did. Real accounts only; no synthetic voices.
