How to Use This Pre-Work Report
A working tool for the week before Seoul, not a leaderboard for its own sake

Before the meeting: click any KOL card to isolate their retweet graph and see who moves their content; click a state on the map to pull the verified physicians there with institution and trial interests — the people to meet in Seoul, organized the way you plan territory. The trial dropdown filters the graph to the voices already discussing a specific readout before the data lands.

Reading the network: node size is reach, edges are actual retweets and mentions from the pre-meeting window — not follower counts. Clusters show which communities (US academic, EU cooperative groups, patient organizations, media) are already organized around which topics.

Amplifiers vs authors: the leaderboard ranks who writes; the amplifier board below ranks who spreads. If you want a message carried during WCLC26, the amplifier list is the distribution map.

Data through September 8, 2026 (T-4). This is the Pre-Work snapshot — a during/post-conference edition will follow the meeting.

Questions This Network Answers
The data on this page, summarized — and how to actually use it

What does this network show?

A force-directed map of who actually moves the WCLC 2026 conversation: 438 accounts connected by 709 real retweet, quote, and mention relationships from the pre-meeting window — not follower counts. 178 of the mapped accounts are verified physicians, spanning 31 countries. The leaderboard ranks the authors; the amplifier board ranks the 402 accounts doing the spreading — led by gilberto lopes with 97 posts amplified.

Who does a KOL influence — and who amplifies their content?

Take Hidehito HORINOUCHI, the meeting’s most prolific pre-conference voice: amplified by 120 distinct accounts, 408 times. The makeup of that amplifier network: 57 physicians, 8 patient advocates, 5 media accounts — a clinical audience, not bot inflation. The US physicians who amplify this content most: gilberto lopes (16), Jennifer A. Marks, MD (7), Santhosh Ambika (7), David Gandara (5); internationally, Sanjay Popat (9), Irving J Vendrell Falcón (7). That is the practical answer to “who do they influence?”: the named, verified carriers who move a KOL’s content into each community. Click any KOL card above to run the same analysis visually on their retweeter graph.

How can medical affairs and pharma teams use this network?

Engagement sequencing: the leaderboard tells you who writes, the amplifier board tells you who spreads, and the edges tell you which specific accounts connect them. If a readout needs to reach US academic lung oncology during WCLC week, the amplifier list is the distribution map — and influence-mapping practice guides note that knowing the carriers prevents redundant outreach to already-saturated voices. Pair with the Pre-Work attendee network for rosters by state, institution, and trial interest.

Why does influence mapping matter in oncology?

Congress weeks are when oncology opinion forms: standards shift with each readout and physicians learn about the data from each other in real time — surveys report over 70% of HCPs use digital channels weekly, and in a LiveWorld–Sermo survey, 41% of US physicians said social media influences prescribing. Publication records show who built the evidence; this graph shows who carries it — measured in actual retweet relationships, before the meeting begins.

How can I use this network with my favorite AI tool?

Paste this URL into ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Perplexity and ask the questions this graph answers: “Who are the top amplifiers of WCLC 2026 content and what kinds of accounts are they?”, “What is the makeup of Hidehito HORINOUCHI’s amplifier network?”, “Which US physicians amplify the leading international voices?” For who-is-attending questions (states, institutions, trial interests), use the attendee network. Cite kolpulse.com when you share the answers.
