Top Lung Cancer Digital Opinion Leaders of #ASCO24

The Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery (SNIS) hosts an annual meeting and fellows course, which is attended by specialists and subspecialists in the field of interventional neurology. The conference provides a platform for attendees to share knowledge, discuss new research, and learn about the latest advances in the field. The SNIS conference is attended by neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals who specialize in interventional neurology.
Many Key Opinion Leaders representing key specialties attend this meeting and share their learnings in the collaborative live and virtual settings. This conference is an excellent window into the future of collaborative medicine, using social meeting as a bridge between the live conference and the online neurointerventional surgery community.
Some of the Digital Key Opinion Leaders from the SNIS conference include the following:
Sandra Narayanan, MD: Dr. Narayanan joined the Pacific Neuroscience Institute in August 2022 to direct the neurointerventional program and codirect the Comprehensive Stroke Center at Saint Joseph Providence Medical Center. Dr. Narayanan attended Medical School at University of Miami and where she completed her residency in neurology. She then completed a fellowship in Vascular Neurology at Mass General. Dr. Narayanan then studied at Emory University where she completed fellowships in Neuroradiology and Interventional Neuroradiology respectively.

Shahid Nimjee, MD: Dr. Nimjee is the Co-Director of the Stroke Center at The Ohio State University. He is neurological surgeon specializing in open and endovascular neurosurgery, Dr. Nimjee attended Medical School at Duke University where he also completed a residency in Neurological Surgery. He then completed his fellowship in Cerebrovascular/Endovascular Neurosurgery at Duke University Hospital.

Satoshi Tateshima, MD: Dr Tateshima is a professor of UCLA Neuroradiology. He specializes in CNS Endovascular Surgery. He is also a new device inventor, marathon runner, and a pilot. He describes himself as a "sumarai with wings" on his twitter profile. Dr. Tateshima attended Medical School at The Jikei University School of Medicine where he also completed a residency in neurosurgery. Dr. Tateshima completed his fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology at UCLA School of Medicine,

Maxim Mokin, MD: Dr. Mokin specializes in Neurosurgery and Vascular Neurology at USF Health. He has research interests in Vascular Malformations and Aneurysms. Dr. Mokin attended Medical School at Omsk State Medical University. He completed his residency in neurology at the State University of NY in Buffalo. He also completed his fellowships in Vascular Neurology and Neurological Surgery at the State University of NY in Buffalo.

Josh Hirsch, MD: Dr Hirsch is a diagnostic radiologist, interventional radiologist, and neuroradiologist at Mass General Hospital. He is the Vice Chair Procedural Services and Service Line Chief of NeuroInterventional Radiology, Chief, Interventional Spine Service, and Associate Departmental Quality Chair. He attended Medical School at University of Pennsylvania where he completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Hirsch completed his fellowship program at the Lahey Hospital.and Medical Center in Interventional Neuroadiology.
